Orna was tasked with aggressive hiring goals and had plans to build out multiple functional teams in a short timeline. Hiring top talent at all levels was critical for their growth plans. The Bowdoin Group was hired to help Orna build a best-in-class recruitment process; sourcing and attracting excellent candidates, implementing an operationally sound process and ultimately placing top talent. Throughout our engagement, they have raised Series B funding and have formed a partnership with Merck. They needed a partner that could scale up and down quickly based on different milestones in their growth.
The TBG Process
- Fully created and operationalized a process from requisition approval through candidate placement
- Created Hiring Manager reporting and analytic dashboards to provide insight into searches and statuses of candidates
- In addition to actively sourcing and mapping the market for passive candidates, Bowdoin also managed inbound applicants and referrals for all assigned roles
- Managed external vendors, including LinkedIn and other agencies to support all talent-related initiatives
- Partnered with Orna’s outside Marketing partner to create a talent-branded LinkedIn Life page to attract passive candidates
- Lead multiple company-wide interview training sessions; focusing on interview best practices, unconscious bias, behavioral interview techniques, and more
- Currently implementing an Applicant Tracking System
